Supreme Court criticizes mandatory minimums

Two Supreme Court justices are speaking out against mandatory minimums and saying the correctional system is broken.  Of note is that one of them, Justice Kennedy, normally sides with law enforcement on questions of criminal procedure.

This type of top-down re-evaluation of our justice system is exactly what it takes to reform our country and become more productive and stronger.
