Commonwealth v. A.A. - possession of marijuana- DISMISSED

October 2015

After police responded to a medical trouble call at a residence, they performed a "safety sweep" of the home.  During their "safety sweep", they located suspected marijuana on a table in the basement.  Unfortunately,  they chose to charge the most innocent party at the scene with possession of marijuana.  Harris & Carmichael tenaciously defended this case through investigation, legal case research, and full preparation for trial. On the morning of trial, the prosecutor DISMISSED the case before it could proceed.
