Throughout my career I have worked diligently to safeguard my clients' rights to live their lives free from government overreach and to ensure that those clients, who have been injured by the wrong doing of another, receive full compensation for the harm done to them or their families.

In addition to being a capable trial attorney I seek to uphold the tradition of a counselor at law by helping my clients understand their options before making informed decisions. I also seek to apply Virginia Tech's motto – Ut prosim, “that I may serve” – in every aspect of my representation.  Whether you need to meet at your home, on the weekend or at some odd hour, I will work to accommodate your needs.  I will also make sure to understand the subtleties of your case and how the case results will affect you before offering advice on how to proceed.

Litigation can be a time intensive, expensive and risky endeavor.  Before you take on that type of burden I will work to ensure that you fully understand the risks and potential benefits of going forward and will help you make sound decisions to preserve your rights.

I was raised in Richmond, Virginia, the son of a controls engineer and an interior designer.  I graduated from St.Christopher's School in 1996 and thereafter graduated from Virginia Tech in 2000. In 2001, I matriculated to T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond.   I was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2004 and have practiced as a trial attorney since that time.

In 2015, my family and I moved to Alexandria, Virginia after my wife began working with Government Finance Officers Association.  She is director of GFOA's Federal Liaison Center.  My two children attend elementary school through Alexandria School System and participate in youth league soccer and baseball.  We enjoy spending our family time hiking, exploring the area, and finding authentic food.
