Commonwealth v. William R. (Transporting Firearm In an Airport)


Case Conclusion: September 10, 2014

Description: Client was charged with transporting a firearm in his carry-on luggage in Reagan National Airport while trying to board a plane.  After investigation of the case, inspection of the alleged weapon, interviews of the airport officials involved, and negotiation with the prosecutor, Ms. Harris convinced the prosecutor that the statute was not correctly applied in this matter.  Therefore the Commonwealth moved to dismiss the case.

What Happens Now?
