Commonwealth v. T. S. - Possession of Marijuana - NOT GUILTY

April 2016

Client was charged with simple possession of marijuana, but worked in a profession where a conviction, or even a first offender program, would be fatal to his career. We attempted tirelessly to negotiate with the prosecutor to reach some sort of informal disposition to avoid a conviction, but the prosecutor wouldn't budge. Knowing it was a constructive possession case (i.e. a case where multiple people had access to the marijuana), we decided to go to trial. After a hard fought case, client was pronounced not guilty by a judge.
