Commonwealth v. Nur - (Burglary)

Client, an immigrant, was alleged to have broken into a neighbor's house for the purpose of interfering with a child who lived there.  He was threatened by law enforcement and treated badly despite language and cultural barriers.  In fact, he was merely knocking on an open door asking the neighbors to be quiet after they disturbed the entire neighborhood for hours in the middle of the night.  After multiple court appearances by Ms. Harris and a full preparation for trial with multiple defense witnesses subpoenaed, the prosecutor reduced the charge to a trespass and DISMISSED the entire case.  No conviction was entered or will show on client's record.
