ARMED ROBBERY, CONSPIRACY, FIREARM - DISMISSED

March 2015

Commonwealth v. R.G.: In a case of armed robbery, conspiracy, and use of a fiream in commission of a felony, Phoenix Harris tenaciously fought for her client, challenged the evidence through a motion to suppress, investigated the witnesses, and spent hours poring over discovery, transcripts, and other case files.  The co-defendant was poised to testify against her client, and the Commonwealth also had an uncharged rape it was using as leverage.  In spite the overwhelming evidence against her client, Phoenix Harris was eventually able to convince the prosecutor to DISMISS the case, saving her client from decades in prison.
